Culler is built anew each day by its surroundings.
The village of Reboredo in O Grove is both our anchor (to the land, to our roots) and our greatest inspiration—continuing to explore and interpret the place we call home.
We live in a place where Nature thrives in its full splendour. There exists a close connection between the sea, the countryside, and the forest—where over a hundred varieties with culinary potential flourish.
The Ría de Arousa, just 800 metres from us, is our window to the Atlantic and to our maritime culture.
Culler’s kitchen is defined by the seasons. We live attuned to what happens around us: cooking what’s spontaneous, what’s fleeting. Our creative challenge is to be able to put our knowledge and sensitivity at the service of what the land itself provides. We adapt our cooking to nature’s rhythm with the premise that the best product is the one at its peak moment.
We are aware of the role we wish to assume in the times we live in.
To responsibly consume resources from our environment, attempting to give back to the earth, in some way, what we take from it.
To seek new paths and hidden treasures in products that are often forgotten or undervalued culinarily. To discover them with curiosity, make the most of them, and bring them to their fullest splendour on a plate, with the primary goal of creating enjoyment.
To change the often preconceived notion about a product’s value or the concept of a menu. That is the great challenge and small revolution of Culler de pau.
To awaken the senses, evoking memories through flavours, sights, and aromas. To make one feel the place of which we are part.
